PROPOSED BAN ON PLASTIC BAGS Planet Pals invite you to bring your friends and children to the Manhattan Beach City Council Meeting on July 1, 2008, at 6:30 pm. The City Council will be considering a ban on plastic bags. According to the statistics presented by our Planet Pals representatives, there are more plastic bags in the oceans than plankton! As a beach community, we are the most affected by the bags because they are polluting our ocean and killing our wildlife
There is a chance for you to speak if you would like. Speakers would have two minutes and you or your children are invited to speak if you feel strongly about this.
